Die 1997 gegründete IART- International Association of Rebreather Trainers erkannte frühzeitig die Notwendigkeit einer spezialisierten Ausbildung, um mit der rasanten Entwicklung der Rebreather-Technologie Schritt zu halten.
Als Reaktion auf die fehlenden Angebote der etablierten Tauchverbände entwickelte IART umfassende Schulungsprogramme, die exakt auf die jeweiligen Geräte und die Erfahrungsstufe der Taucher zugeschnitten waren.
By working closely with manufacturers and developing innovative teaching materials, IART set new standards in terms of safety and quality. IART not only provided a solid theoretical foundation, but also taught practical skills.
